A YIRP piece is the opposite. It was found — in an estate sale, a workshop, a forgotten storage unit. It was assessed by a skilled artisan who saw something worth saving. And it was restored by hand, with materials chosen deliberately, techniques applied carefully, and hours invested knowingly.

Our artisans find pieces with potential — mid-century sideboards, Victorian armchairs, industrial dining tables. Not junk. Pieces that deserve a second life.

Brought back to life by hand

Stripping, refinishing, reupholstering, rewiring — whatever the piece needs. Done by skilled craftspeople who understand the material, the era, and the technique.

Full provenance, full transparency

Every piece comes with a complete history: where it was found, what was done to it, who restored it, what materials were used, and how long it took. No secrets.
